Problem Statement:
Although the enterprise had implemented SAP ECC for the enterprise and most of the business units, it could not deliver new business needs in a timely and cost efficient manner.

- Digital capability for the employee to perform routine transactions such as individual payroll validation, travel setup, expense entry, manage staff performance and the like
- Digital capability to engage with customers in a standard and effective manner

Solution:
Delstra managed and executed the program. Our team provided the program management and consulting to lead this global initiative through the entire solution implementation life cycle including design, integration, configuration, testing, training and deployment.
The program team executed the following:
- Selection and foundational deployment for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) including the supporting transactional and governance technologies
- Design, integration, build and deployment of self-service capability across disparate systems including payroll, human resources, travel, expense and related services
- Design through implementation of a global customer facing platform and infrastructure to support Sales & Marketing Customer engagement
- Design through implementation of the infrastructure to support collaboration using Sharepoint
Results:
- Increased IT’s agility, speed of delivery and lowered cost per deployment
- Enabled self-service capability across disparate systems including payroll, human resources, travel, expense and related services in a 45 day time period
- Enabled a global customer facing platform and infrastructure to support Sales & Marketing Customer engagement in 120 days
